Engine Error 0x887A0005 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

This seem pretty common crash for Apex Legend since the game launch on first day and I still have this problem

This problem occur randomly between 2min from match start to 3-4hrs of continuous playing, This problem never occur in Lobby or Firing Range.

What I have tried (note : I played this game on Notebook Acer Predator G3-572)

-Uninstall Driver via DDU (both Nvidia and Intel)

-Tried reinstall various version of Nvidia Driver eg: 417.71 , 442.50 and various version of lastest version that nvidia always tell me to update

-run sfc scan in cmd

-TdrLevel or Delay on regedit

-set streaming budget in videoconfig.txt in Saved Games folder

-Clean Boot

-Various other ways i may forget to mentioned because it's too many

Please help

  • bump , where is EA staff to answer this question....?

  • Been having this issue for about 2 months now. EA staff usually reply once and forget about you.

  • I personally solved the problem with setting my nvidia program 3D settings for apex back to standard. Before I've had some adjustments there according to some recommendations in the internet. PS: GeForce RTX 2080

I recently go this GPU and have had constant crashes with Apex. Does anyone have a fix?

I have tried reverting to driver version 436.48 and it will not install due to my system needing a DCH driver package.
