Engine Error on Launch

After the latest update today (June 29) I have not been able to open the Apex. Everytime I try, I get this Engine Error saying it couldnt intialize sound and that i need to make sure my playback device is enabled. Please help, I have tried every work around that I could find.

the only thing that ended up working was to uninstall and reinstall the game

@chuckTHEhooker Same thing for me, I'm missing a language sound pack and I've tried reinstalling the game and verified my game files. Nothing works.

hi @chuckTHEhooker,

Try the following:
Fix 1: Update the graphics driver
Fix 2: Run Apex Legends as an administrator
Fix 3: Verify game files

the same thing is happening to me even if I uninstall and reinstall and I've checked the files multiple times.
