Close out any and all fortnite/epic games apps that are running then try again. Should work

i had the same issue. I tried deleting the files and reinstalling. choosing a different hard drive to install it. none of that worked. no other games were open or applications. i cleared the files again and restarted the pc. it seems to be installing fine now.

- 7 years agowow i was playing Fortnite and I was so angry that I couldn't install it... thank you so much
- 7 years ago@dann3boy didn't work
- 5 years ago@dann3boy Going along with what you said, but for a different game. It's not just "any and all Origin Games" It's any games with Direct X or any other VC++ things running.. It's weird but I couldn't have steam games or a few EPIC games running. I tried on a few platforms to test it. I'm pretty sure it's a good fix for the Error: 327684:1 as well. Since that error was for vc_redist.x64 and 68. As origin thinks for some reason they are not installed since they are being run by a different program. I'm not sure about anyone else. But I know I play singleplayer offline games when i'm downloading something, and they do run those 2 vc's.
