Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

In recent months, many players have been banned for "Gameplay Enhancement". Most of them did not exhibit any abnormal behavior, and ea banned our accounts without providing corresponding explanations. I believe this is a bug in the anti cheating system, and you can see many similar cases on forums。

Professional players Noname and QQ have also been mistakenly banned, but they are professional players and can be quickly unlocked. What about ordinary players? Most players, including myself, have spent a lot of money and time on this game, and now it has all been destroyed. The community manager should report it to EA!

    Hey wweikc,

I've merged your recent posts to this thread. Both the original post and the solution post have updated links with the correct information on how to proceed if you feel your account ban was applied incorrectly.

This will be the exact same process even if you feel like these were incorrect for a number of others as well. We cannot review or investigate these claims or appeals via the forums, but each appeal is reviewed by a member of the Terms of Service team that has access to our tools and records to verify whether an action may have been applied incorrectly.

If you've already appealed and have heard back from the team, you're welcome to submit another appeal to have a different member of the ToS team review things again, unless it's already reached a point where they've mentioned no further investigations will be performed.

Hello, consultant. I have already appealed to TOS, but they always refuse and have stated that they will not investigate further. I have no idea what I have done, which makes it difficult for me to take action against the ban. I am like a headless fly, and they are not responsible to the players!

Please refer to my post on the forums about the issue of "Bans caused by false anti-cheat flags while having connection issues to servers" for my infomation on the this topic. The frequency and randomness of who is seemingly targeted by this "Gameplay Enhancement" Ban, along with the uproar of complaints seen on the forums must indicate to somebody at EA that this is an issue caused by the individual player. Many people of different circumstances reporting the same reason for the ban, along with no email confirmation that the account has been suspended. What makes things worse is that, as you say, the TOS team have the right to refuse to further investigation if they see that the ban applied was just, leaving many people helpless and reaching out here on the forums for answers they cant be provided in the appeals. If at the very least providing some insight into whether this is considered an issue on your end at this time would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hey Krule-Dru,

Yes, I've definitely seen the thread. I understand you're wanting more eyes on what you're seeing as a potential false ban wave, and the way to have that looked into is to submit an appeal, same as with any other action.

If we're seeing a larger than usual number of appeals that claim to be due to a false ban wave or incorrectly applied bans, the team would look into the reason for that to check whether a larger action like that was applied incorrectly.

It's important to note that many people receiving a similar ban is not in itself unusual, as it's fairly common in the industry for bans to be performed in waves that give cheat developers less time and information to react to detections. That's not to say that every ban is always correct - hence the ability to appeal - but just recognizing many people are reporting the same is not an indication that there's an issue.

The best thing to do would be to submit an additional appeal along with any other information or details regarding your own personal situation that may be applicable, so the team can take another look. Ultimately they do have final say in the matter, and while we certainly try to clarify where we can, the forums are not an alternative way to have bans reviewed or changed.

So is there any chance to even hear if a false ban is possible. Appealling for the 10th time has made them close the ticket until i make a new one explaining the same issue with no more information provided by TOS team after the fact. I stand by original forum statement and im still being denied despite Apex Publicly posting that they are investigating the parameters for getting flagged falsely after a recent incident. No updates are being provided on the status of that investigation or whether it is even on going and i feel as though if a large number of your player base has been affected by this quite seriously, then it should be in EA/Respawns priority to inform those waiting to hear more than a denied appeal.

I don't mean to come of as argumentative or aggressive when discussing this matter. I want to comply to the process of appealing and awaiting investigations from the TOS team, though every result is the same, despite my innocence. Im left desperately trying to discuss this to someone as close to the issue as possible, EA Community managers and messaging people like RSPN_Hideouts on X to no avail.

We really need to get the attention of this so called "team" regarding these random bans. I got banned the same way other people got, I was playing mixtape and next time I try to login my account was permanently banned for "game enhancement" which is completely wrong as I do not use any forbidden software/hardware on my PC. Something happened to the anti cheat which started causing false positive bans, meanwhile the team responsible for ban appeals just spam the same message over and over again saying its correctly placed then we come here for some information which results in another dead end, what I'm supposed to do? We are absolutely abandoned with no hope for actual justice, meanwhile the people who are supposed to banned are still running around in the game as I've seen in platforms multiple times. It's you or any other manager here who needs to take action for this matter to be taken more seriously. It's not fun to waste hundreds of hours and then get random permanent ban and lose everything. Someone needs to take a stand and do somethin about it. Our appeals do absolutely nothing to help us, we need actual EA employees to take action regarding this problem.
