  • No, this does not work

I'm using G633, I followed the video, I can't enable "Windows Sonic for Headphones". Once I click on OK, it tells me "Something went wrong while trying to turn on spatial sound".

And there is no checkbox for "Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound".

Honestly, I don't believe enabling spatial sound would fix issues like a single game in my computer does not play any sound. Changing spatial sound setting are more likely to change how audios are played, instead of determining if the audio would play for certain games.

It can't be just me, why is there no constructive solution for this.

The reason you're having that issue is because your pc likely has a third party sound mixer like MAXX audio or something of the sort. After I disabled that I was able to switch between Dolby atmos and windows sonic with no ussues
