FPS Cap on EA APP

Hello,

I just switched from Origin to the new EA App launcher since Origin will be disabled sometime in the future.

When I try to add the line: +fps_max unlimited in the advanced launch options menu it says that the command I entered contain an invalid character.

How do I fix this? How can I set my FPS without limits on the new app?

I fixed it.
Here is what I did:
- I added the line -fps_max_500 in the advanced launch options.
- Put m< V-Sync option on anything but disabled.
It didnt work for me, when I had the V-Sync option on disabled.
I dont know where the problem is, but apparently it works for me.

Same - stuck at 144 fps cap, not sure how to fix it

Issue seems to be related to the EA APP itself, if that's the case, please post this issue in the EA APP forum:

Also do note that if you want to remove the fps cap that you have to use +fps_max 0 and not +fps_max unlimited.

With default settings?
I would be happy to have 144fps, I am stuck at 60fps.

+fps_max 0/144/unlimited can not be entered and -fps_max 0/144/unlimited has no effect

Windows properly detects Display as 144Hz Display.

go for collection - then look at the game icon - to right top corner of it - button with a dots there. press it - and select properties

This worked for me!! But I didn't want the UNLIMITED FPS. So I did the " +fps_max 180" This cap my fps at exactly 180FPS. So I'm sure you can use the same code; switch the cap you wish to have

Hello,
Don't know if you are still having this problem, but if you are, +fps_max 100 (or whatever fps you want) is working. I am pretty sure that unlimited is not a command. Limitting fps is also good for performance, but if you really want that huge amount of frames, just input around 250 to 300 (the fps cap for Apex is 300). I don't recomend however, to go as high as 300 because of movement like supergliding and tapstrafing, but that might just be my pc being unstable. Let me know if this helped!
