After update 1.24 there is a huge fps drop or lower fps than usual i tried to lower settings but doesn't work i feel like its not changing anything at all !?
any solutions ? anything because i cannot play anymore !??
for those gonna tell me about these things
- game is on high priority
- drivers is up to date
- everything was perfect before the update !

Same. It just started for me with patch 3.1 or the origin patch for the Jedi. I did the post even earlier, it remains to be confronted with the fact that hardly anyone will help us here. All that can be suggested here is the template answers, which, according to the representatives of EA, should help in all cases, so that you can find all that they write on the forum yourself. I did everything, nothing fixes the situation. I think this is why the game falls on Twitch, longer searches appear even in public match. This game is dying before our eyes. I don't know what to do If the support itself didn't answer us. I'm just afraid they don't fix it as u said maybe months..
Problem is there is nothing working lower or higher settings - shadows on -off same * fps that's so hard to accept...
I agree with you , season 2 was great but season 3 full of new content also enviroment updates that changes everything, this game is great but it dies from its own support team.
That's sad, I wish there is any possible thing to do but nothing works I cannot play at all..
The problem is that the "Adaptive Resolution FPS Target" slider is broken. That's why some people might not feel a difference, if you were on max settings before you probably don't see any difference. Considering this is the only way to change the texture quality we now pretty much all have to play on "ultra" texture settings. It's a pretty big issue, lets hope the hotfix it or just take the patch back.
I have a potato pc with a geforce 920mx abd i7 7500u and 8gbof ram
i played apex from the s2 easy on 60 fps using "Adaptive Resolution FPS Target" at 60 today i run apex after the update the resolution was set to 0 i set it to 60 the game show me that it's 60 but noting change the rsolution is like at 0 i don't know why it shows that it's 60 but it's like on 0 th game with the "Adaptive Resolution FPS Target" set on 0 on my pc is unplayable i need a solution please
Hello guys.
Cause of the FPS issue is Adaptive Resolution not working right now, in other words it's set to 0 for some reason. I tried to solve the problem through game's config file but couldn't find FPS target there, I found Anti-aliasing tho but it has no use. I'm not a game developer of course but it seems like a minor bug, I hope devs will solve this problem ASAP.
In that time, you can try to change Anti-aliasing to NONE or/and Adaptive Supersampling to OFF through in-game video settings. Also if you have a potato pc(like me) you might want to lower your resolution because that's what the Adaptive Resolution do(kind of). Game does not allow under 1024x748 but you can force it to lower resolutions through Origin Launch Options. Just simply write: -h 800 w- 600 or your preferred resolution.
