first tnx for putting your time in and replay. the problem with evo shields in firing ranget seemed to be solved by following your steps. but then i just realized that bc of the low setting , fps drop caused by evo shields wasnt enough to lower my fps below 190 . but when i changed my direction to the way that all evo shields in firing range came in the screen, fps starts to drop below 160. furthermore i still got fps drop when facing certain directions when i launch the game like trio or duo .fps drops most likely when i am facing toward center of the map. and get back normal when toward edge of the map.all this is for the open, while for close areas like buildings directing toward center or the edge doesnt make any differences and fps drops randomly. the RTSS app you recommanded is useful btw . in firing range, when i am facing the way no evo shields are in my screen, those frame color indicator bars got vibration in localized spot and my fps is 190. when i am facing toward evo shields this vibration spreads across the whole bar and my fps is drops below 190. so appearently fps drop caused by evo shields and localization of this vibration in bars are correlated some how. and changing scanline sync didnt affect those bars as well. is there any point i am missing about the whole steps? i start to think my fps drops are normal and i just need more powerful gear. again tnx for your help , i appreciate it a lot 🙂
now i have left room for maneuver in my instructions, because different settings work for different hardware. If your FPS falls below 160, I would recommend setting your monitor to static 144 Hz. if the auxiliary display in RTSS fluctuates significantly, this is also a sign that the hardware is too weak for the selected settings. it is important to set +fps_max 0, otherwise the display fluctuates as well, and also deactivate gsync/freesync everywhere (in monitor settings too if its aviable for you). I have tested my manual on many different systems and it worked smoothly everywhere. it is important to set the right settings for your hardware. Stronger hardware especially a stronger graphics card would of course help you to operate your monitor natively in apex legends. however, it is not recommended to go over 190 fps / hz with rtss in apex legends. if you want to use over 190 hzyou have to do without (negativ) scnaline sync.
