This update broke "Nvidia Reflex" in DX12 Make sure it is turned off in game but I don't think that will fix your problem.

Ever since the new update every single game of apex i play my frames will drop to 8-13 fps. It is literally unplayable. I go to restart my game and get abandonment penalty, -150 RP. I went from d1 to d4 in a day bc of this please help.

My Apex keeps micro stuttering constantly when playing the game. I've capped my FPS, got it set to the lowest possible settings, messed around with all settings in nvidia control panel, watched as many youtube tutorials i could find, tried everything i could find on the apex answer hq and nothing has worked. Frame drops despite specs being more than capable of 120FPS

Am on PC Steam.

Specs are:

CPU - i7 12700K
GPU - Nvidia RTX 3070
RAM - 32GB
Game is currently running DX12 version on NVME drive.

For a few seasons now, I've been having major issues running the game at a stable 120FPS with this hardware. I keep getting frame fluctuations of 5-10FPS multiple times per minute, with drops of up to 25FPS in some situations. I have tried:

Reinstalling the game
Lowering the resolution and all possible graphics settings
Disabling efficiency mode on the Apex process in Task Manager
Playing the game with all other applications turned off
Checking the temperature/usage of the CPU and GPU; neither are maxing to 100% usage/overheating during these frame drops

This is negatively impacting my experience of the game and I don't know what else to try, as my PC should be more than capable of sustaining a stable 120FPS. Can someone please help?

Having the same issue. After a while (not sure if its time based like 30 min into a game) my game is going crazy. Ping and fps is all over the place like from 10 to 165 then back to 80 and so on. Happened the first time this weekend. Restarting the game is the only apparent way to fix the issue. But also joining a new lobby seems to fix this issue (had this occur while spectating while dead and waiting for the auto matchmaking feature). So maybe its a communication with the server thing ? But that doesnt explain the fps fluctuating. I’m very confused to be honest.

Hello, is there a way to fix this? My ps5 is brand new and getting these fps drops only in apex legends is frustrating

Every game of ranked my fps drops down to 10 for about 10 seconds usually towards end game. This only happens with Apex and only since the last update.
Tried deleting and reinstalling on my Xbox but still happening.

Hello,
since the last update I have the problem that my fps drop drastically if I look towards the centre of the map.
Even if I am just looking directly into a wall and am orientated towards the centre my fps drop to 110. If I just turn around and look into the other direction they jump back up to a stable 165.
I already tried all possible YT tutorials and Nvidia setting, also did a clean Windows install, but nothing helped.
Does anybody have the same problem or a solution to this problem?

I have the same problem, fun fact friend of mine with rtx 2060 has const 185FPS :D and me on rtx 3080 is balancing between 80-144.
