Frame Rate Cap?
Does anyone know if there's a way to cap frames in Apex? I believe my GPU is getting maxed out due to no cap being set. Because of this, my stream is not staying at a constant 60fps, it's fluctuating all over the place from numbers like 20.37 to 50.34. I stream taxing games like Escape from Tarkov, etc and my stream is stable when I play those because I cap my frames at 144. So does anyone know of a possible way to cap the game, whether it be in a config file or something else? I would really appreciate it!
I finally fixed my problem. After trying many many different trial's and errors, and JUST when I was about to give up and reinstall windows, I thought to myself, "maybe my Media Sources on my OBS scene are messing with my FPS?" I have 4 Media Sources on my scene for dynamic overlays/event lists etc, and as soon as I disabled them, boom, my stream ran flawlessly at 59.94 fps, even whilst dropping into a game and playing it out, it stayed locked at 59.94.
So if anyone reading this is having a similar issue, double check that you dont have any Media Sources or Window/Display Captures enabled on your OBS Scene.
Good luck to you all! I almost ripped my freaking face off trying to figure this out.
