My apex can not get past the dropship. Once the squad hits drop the game freezes and I have to use task manager to close the game and process before I can reopen. I have not played a game yet where this doesn't happen.
I just did a fresh install of windows earlier today from a completely different issue, so everything was a fresh install. I have repaired the files, cleared all of the cache and disabled any antivirus or other software running in the background to no avail.
My PC specs are as follows:
- i7 8700k
- Vega 56
- 16gb ddr4 3200
- 750w psu
- auros gaming 5 motherboard
I was having a freezing issue with Rainbow six which I did the fresh install for and it seemed to fix that bug and now this game is unplayable on my PC. It does not work at all. Sometimes if I close the game quick enough and re-open it will throw me back into the match but then about 5-10 seconds goes by and the game completely locks up again. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
i have the exact same problem. I tried to contact EA support and they blamed my computer, even when i told them this happend after an update from EA. I'm going back to fortnite. EA just scam and dont care about if the games works or the players are satisfied. I spent hours trying to solve this problem with their support. @DenimGorillas
"Good" thing to hear it's not just me. Annoying because the gf wanted to play it with me but I guess not. I have it on ps4 as well so maybe i'll just have to wait until it's cross platform and get rid of it from my PC. It's a shame.
