I'm getting the issue that my apex freezes to the point that it needs to be force closed through taskmanager.
Tried to repair it through origin without success:
Specs:
i5-3570k
16 GB DDR3 1600MHz
RX 570 4GB
same here i played 5 competitive match and all of them froze mid game i tried to do all the troubleshoot and reinstalled it and all of it didn't work well i guess its back to Overwatch then.
Mine freezes aswell midgame. Its unplayable . i just strated to like the game . but now its gone. too bad , not coming back for long time i was ready to buy some coins but no point now .
I my case, the game crash every time or its very lagged , today the servers turn off and im about to get 4000 of damage whit catalyst and it crash , respawn pls fix, or maybe im going to play overwacht2
I was able to play other game modes with BR being the only one that locks up... odd right ?
I’m getting the same problem and haven’t been able to fix it. I reinstalled game, all the easy anti cheats, checked for corrupt files, lowered load it had when starting up and nothing worked. I need help bad
I was getting random freezing , sometimes the game would crash to desktop , other times I needed to tab out to close the game.
What I did was set my frames to max ( which was 144 for my system ) and enabled dirext12 . Do both of these things in properties with
with advance launch options , the commands are:
-eac_launcher_settings SettingsDX12.json and +fps_max 144
commands should be writtine like this :
-eac_launcher_settings SettingsDX12.json ,+fps_max 144
(note 144 is what I chose, you most likely will have a different number to suit your system)
Then I set the games graphic settings do that by
typing "graphic settings into start , scroll down to browse, click browse and add these 2 files
r5apex.exe and r5apex_dx12.exe
once they are both added , click on them / options / select high performance
After that I verified files (repair game) right click game in library ( origin) No crashes after doing that .
What ever you do don't do anything drastic like reinstall windows , mess with your system as this is a game specific thing not a system issue !

Also tryed this. It seems random yesterday i have like 5 games with no problems, the 6.game then I started again 3 dced in same game (a real shitshow)
