@Helminizer
@iEat15EggsADay
By combining these two methods, my Apex no longer crashes.
Thanks to all of you for the information.
And If you are having trouble with crashes, give it a try.
[1st]
Step 1:go to apex video settings and disable "Spot Shadow Detail" completely. put it on disabled.
It is important to do this step first because step 2 will be reset if you do ANY changes to your video settings later.
close the game.
Step 2:
Press Windows+R
enter this:%userprofile%/Saved Games/Respawn/Apex/local/
go to the text file called "videoconfig" search the Line"setting.csm_enabled" "1" (in the bottom half of the file) make it "setting.csm_enabled" "0"save the file.
Step 3:
Start the Game and give it a Try.
If you do ANY change to your video settings after step 2 it will set it to "setting.csm_enabled" "1" again.
[2nd]
try this launch commands:
+exec autoexec -refresh 144 -dev -console -preload -forcenovsync -high
First we tried [1st] only, but it crashed after about 30 minutes.
Next I tried the [2nd] way to start Apex and played it for a few hours without crashing.
I will fill in my PC specs just in case.
