A few days ago there was a small updated, and my game stopped working. I was getting the "Your Windows 7 system is too outdated. Please install KB4534310." error. The next day the game started working again without me doing anything.
Yesterday I downloaded another update and game stopped working again with the same error. For some reason I am unable to install this particular windows updated - it gives me an error.
I did a manual install of KB4534310 and could now start the game but have microstutter that I did not have before that make the game unplayable.
I hope they do find the problem in the anticheat software because I do belive some change made to it is causing this.
As a strong supporter of anticheat I hope it also works better than today, because this great game is unfortunatly riddled with cheaters.

I have this same problem. Apex updated for me today, and when I went to play, I got the same message saying my Windows 7 was out of date, and I needed to install KB4534310. I updated through Windows Update. I then had the micro-stutter problem you mentioned. It only stuttered when I move my mouse. But it's a very bad stutter, and makes the game unplayable. I also tried manually installing KB4534314. But the stutter is still there. Tried rebooting my PC and my router, nothing seemed to help.
I've been playing Apex since it was released. Now I can't play at all. Looks like they've basically given the finger to Windows 7 players. I've been meaning to update to Windows 10, but just haven't had a chance to yet. Looks like they are forcing me to now. Which really sucks, seeing as how I've sunk money and time into this game. Thanks for the middle finger EA! - 3 years ago
@Arne99 This is what has been happening to me too except there's nothing "micro" about my stutters. It's a near constant stutter whenever I go to do... literally anything. I've also gotten most, if not all, of the red error symbols. I also checked task manager and it looked to me that apex was taking up A LOT more memory than it should/ was normal (so possible memory leak?).

Just a recap for those that have not read the complete thread.
I did a manual install of KB4534310 and could now start the game but have microstutter.
I just want to elaborate on my microstutter, for me and kid that are on a diffrent rig with same issue is that the stutter is more of a small freeze every 10-15 seconds, regardless if in main menu or in game.
A guess is that the anticheat software now do either a report/question over the net or a file integrity check every 10-15 seconds and uses some system resource in a blocking way for apex exe, just that small hang thing at least should be a easy fix and maybe that also could be a crash reason depending on version of the op. I do have a lot of years in the software area.

I just tried a few rounds now and did now observe that in the main menu just moving the mouse left to right make the character "jitter" while doing it, add to above info.
