Hi I also encountered this issue and here is a REALLY WEIRD solutionbut it worked for me. It is from my friends.
My env: i7-10875H + RTX2070 + Windows 11
1. Download Valorant and reboot your machine. Yes, VALORANT.
2. You should receive a notice from Vanguard from Valorant, saying some files in your computer has been blocked since they are violating anticheat (though they are normal files at most cases)
3. Make a backup for files mentioned above, and remove them from their directory.
4. Reboot your machine and launch Apex. Now Apex is operational on my machine.
Attached is the screenshot describing the step 2 and my current Apex. The game got operational after I remove marked files.
It's quite a embarrassing fact that this step is even a thing, EAC cannot do the job properly I guess....

Noticed that locating EasAntiCheat_Setup.exe in game directory "Apex Legends\EasyAntiCheat" and uninstalling it via the exe file (as admin) and NOT installing it again, Apex still launches and crashes after 1 minute. It's extremely strange because the game should not even be able to launch without the "Anti cheat" installed.
So at least for me, repairing the service or reinstalling the anti cheat is completely useless.
Do not reinstall the game on steam or origin and do not reinstall Windows, seen a couple of threads claiming issues with OS. If your issue is similar its 100% the game that malfunctions..
Nvidia driver: 516.79 hotfix did not solve it either.
I use: Geforce GTX 1080 Ti.
There is no troubleshooting steps that will fix this issue I've tried it all.....
Dev team need's to troubleshoot the game code itself and release a proper patch along side a working anti cheat system that doesn't crash it.
I used to play Warzone and thought the dev's where not doing a gob job with the updates but this is on another level!!! Stop the troubleshooting BS it's so much work for the end user's and that shouldn't be the case...….Fix the damn unplayable game!!!!!!

I recently tried the alleged Valorant method, never got a message nor did it work.
Apparently 473.00 is the cut off gap for Nvidia drivers on Win7.
I cannot download 516.00WHQL.
This is entirely Apex's fault. No user should have to suffer for any of this. Anti tampering or otherwise.
I already heard on twitter that the hackers have already gotten past the update.
I literally have no other recourse than to wait for an update. Even then I feel it's asinine.
At least they're having fun at our expense for trusting this company...

Ever since season 14 started my game constantly crashes and freezes my entire PC. At first I was getting the "Dxgi Error Device Hung" error, but now it just freezes windows and I have to force shut down my pc. I keep getting abandon penalties and am worries I will get suspended even though its an error from the game. I have tried every single "fix" I could find on forums and the internet. The only thing I haven't tried is factory resetting windows. TBH I shouldn't have to "fix" anything. Don't know how or why this is an issue for so many people 2+ years and 14 seasons into the games life span.....

Yup same here, averaging one a game at this rate, had a teammate dc in the final circle lol. I jumped through so many hoops trying to make it work and im over it, zero issues playing COD/EFT/R6/Valorant/etc, just apex.

My apex crashes when I join into a match. Its common but does not happen in any pattern or anything, it just happens randomly. Sometimes it will create an AMD error messages or it will just plain and simply crash my PC and restart it. I got it off steam and I have tried verifying game files, reinstalling, setting easy anti cheat priority to low, and lowering my settings. Nothing has worked yet and I cant find any answers online. I play on PC steam and my specs are in the DxDiag file and the crash files are in the db file. AMD crash report is in the bottom PNG file.
