Same issue as everyone else. Had the most recent update via origin. Apex icon changed to the Easy Anti-Cheat. Clicking it leads to the Apex launcher loading up, as soon as the screen turns black, it just closes and the Origin interface pops up. Initially I had a warning regarding KB4534310. Prior to installing that, I wasn't able to launch. Game was working fine prior to the previous update and the last 3 years.
Tried:
-Reinstalling game and origin
-Repair EAC
-Reinstall EAC
-Reinstalled NVidia Drivers
-Run in Windows 7 compatibility mode (EAC, Apex, Origin)
-disable NVidia/Origin overlays
-Disable Antivirus
-Disable MSI Afterburner
