Game Crashes when Opening Inventory

What happens when the bug occurs? When I am in an "interact" animation (i.e. opening door, picking up item) and I press the "options" button to open my inventory, it crashes the game.
What should be happening instead? I should be opening my inventory.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? While in game on PS4, go to open a door or pick up and item. While in the animation of doing so, press the "Options" button to open your inventory.

Needs fixing, I can replicate this at any time during the game.

When playing through the game and looting around really quickly, I opened my inventory whilst at the same time i picking up items. Not sure whether related but as soon as i clicked the button for the inventory it blocked me and then crashed. 

Can you get back to me whether these fixed it for you?

1. Check to make sure you have the latest software update: https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/get-help/ps4-system-software/
2. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice). Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
3. Turn off Convert Incoming Voice to Chat Text in the game's settings. (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Game-Keeps-Crashing-PS4/m-p/7439480/highlight/true#M5263)
4. Unplug any devices inserted into the USB slot

If the game still crashes for you after opening inventory, double check to see if it happens with a different controller (this way we can determine whether it's hardware related). If that's not related, try reinstalling the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal to see if you have any improved results.

So this has happened to me several times where I'm in game and almost near the end of the game when 4 or 5 squads are left... When I check my inventory my game freezes and then crashes.. This has happened to me 4 or 5 times... Pls fix this issue. This has cost me many wins

Same problem.

A real hard crash too, ps4 doesn't respond inside the game or attempting to bring up the ps4 dash.

Can still hear party chat though.
