Where did the issue occur? Loading into the match from the lobby
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. We just loaded in to the dropship
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. We just loaded in to the game and it crashed during countdown before dropping.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? I think I have tried roughly 20 games and they all crash at the same point.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 09-03-2020 and still going on
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What happens when the bug occurs? What does the crash look like? - Launching the game is fine - I can get into the character select - As soon as the dropship appears and the counter starts ticking, my game freezes. Sometimes at 9 seconds sometimes just before the drop. - GPU usages go from almost 100% to 0% when this happens. - I can play in the training range, even with friends. (I thought it was maybe a bug that I couldn't connect to online friends due to Origin)
What should be happening instead? Normally you can just drop out of the Dropship without crashing 🙂
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play the game I guess? :P

Since last night I have been experiencing crashes out of nowhere. Earlier that day I played a couple of games and it was fine, a couple of hours later I kept crashing. Nothing had changed on my end. I have been looking over the internet to find the solution to this but everything that is suggested doesn't work. I have seen some Reddit users having the same issue but not a lot of people.
What does the crash look like?
- Launching the game is fine
- I can get into the character select
- As soon as the dropship appears and the counter starts ticking, my game freezes. Sometimes at 9 seconds sometimes just before the drop.
- GPU usages go from almost 100% to 0% when this happens.
- I can play in the training range, even with friends. (I thought it was maybe a bug that I couldn't connect to online friends due to Origin)
What have I tried already?
- Updated Windows 10
- Updated Drivers (GTX 1070)
- Repaired Apex
- Uninstalled it & Reinstalled it
- Made it compatible with Windows 8 & Run as administrator
- Changed all settings to low / off
- Limited the FPS with the command line
- Rolled back my drivers to the previous one
- Turned it off & on again 😉
Nothing seems to work and I am starting to think Origin might have done something with their latest update that prevents me from launching it. Of course, I do not know this for sure.
Let me know if any of you are experiencing the same thing & have any solutions to this. If not we might have to wait until the patch for Kings Canyon goes live today. Maybe with a hotfix in it.
