I also randomly started having this issue when I tried to play just yesterday. I was playing on friday with no issue, and worked all weekend, then got on monday and was unable to drop from the ship without freezing. Without fail, from the end of the character select to the moment I drop from the ship, my game freezes and there seems to be nothing I can do to fix it. I made a twitter post about it which I'm going to link here to save me from having to retype everything, but to sum it up, I basically tried everything I could find on the internet as well as scrubbing forums and nothing helped. Hoping to see this resolved soon. 🙂
