Game freezing after a few seconds into the main menu

So I had been playing apex with friends quite smoothly over the past 2 weeks or less, no problems at all, but when we came online to check out the new winter events my game suddenly likes to freeze a...

I personally think this is related corrupted assets.

These specific assets don't get deleted/repaired when you reinstall/repair the game via the game launcher.

For this, you'll have to do it manually by following these steps:

  1. Press Windows Key + R
  2. Put in %USERPROFILE%\saved games\respawn\apex and select OK
  3. Delete the assets folder

These files will generate again upon startup, so hopefully that'll resolve the issue.
