Game Lag Spikes After Second Match

Game lags after every second game in apex, discord is just fine, not lagging but my game will stutter sometimes and other times it will freeze. I've already tried reinstalling Killer Network Control Center and the whole thing time and time again, didn't work. Tried reinstalling Apex, didn't work. Also have tried updating my drivers, they are all up to date. The only thing that seems to work is when I restart my game after every match. The first match when I load in is fine but the others are laggy. Please help. P.S. My PC runs perfect fine on other games

@WeebRemover4500 Turn on Adaptive Resolution if it is set to off, it really helps a lot.

hi I am experiencing the same thing... i can guaranteed that there is no issue on my internet connection and hardware.. after the first match... game spikes.. even in any server

I have the same issue but on the Ps5 console. First game runs fine, 2nd game get extreme lag with pings going upto 500 and rubber banding. If I close game and play it's fine again. Or even if I go to main menu and change servers next game is fine. But 2nd game onwards always same issue

it happend to me i was trying every fix i can but in the end when i moved apex to the drive where windows is installed it fixed and if this does not fix the issue unfriend your old friends.

Has this ever been resolved? It's driving me insane. I have decent specs on PC and a 1gbps connection and still I get crazy lag after 2-4 matches. Even a restart sometimes doesn't fix this
