Getting into games with only 2-4 people
Whenever I queue up I get into a game with only 2 squads or so in the entire game with only 1-3 people. Whats going on?

it it happened to me while live-streaming . Also, I was speaking Spanish, I live in Canada so it is happening in US servers.
- @KingKaldo It doesn't matter what servers you are on, I tried servers all over the world, same problem.
After reading many posts on this subject it must have something to do with ''cheaters'' and ''cheat bot advertising''. If you come across any of these players, they can (apparently) put your account in this state. I'd like to distance myself from people who are aware that they are queuing with obvious cheaters to reach more wins and a higher rank. These people should actually face some sort of punishment in my opinion. Anyways, I made a post about this particular issue myself. Let me explain how I ended up with this problem:
The weirdest thing just happened to me. I accepted a random friend request as I was thinking that I probably met the guy before. I do this occasionally because I'm always looking for people to play with. I'm always willing to meet new players. We started chatting and he seemed like a nice guy. We decided to go and play some games. This is where the shady stuff happens. We were queuing but the game wouldn't find any players. No matter what we tried it didn't put is in a match until eventually it threw us in a match with only one other squad. I was confused and I told the other guys that where was only one other squad. They were like ''oh well that's a server issue that has happened to me before''. I didn't think much of it, we finished the match and we tried another one. Again we were put against only one other squad. I started looking on reddit and twitter to see if there might be any server issues, but there weren't any issues. Right before I met these guys I was playing for hours and hours without any of these issues, so I quickly figured it must have had something to do with them. Then I asked the guys if they were cheating or doing something to the game that might cause the thing that was happening. He replied; ''it's probably me, I think I have an issue on my end'' (he said in broken English). So he quickly went offline and I haven't seen him since. The way he acted seemed like very guilty behaviour in my opinion. Now everytime I try to play I can't get into matches anymore. I also can't change my password or put two-step-authentication on my account., because EA doesn't send me the email that I should be getting to set this up. Now I don't even know if my account is safe, because I dont know what is happening.
All this could be verified by EA, looking at chatlogs and other data that shows I only played 1 game with them (not even a real one) and that they meeting them caused the state my account is in right now.
I'm sorry if it looks a little hysterical, but I was confused and I was truely afraid that these guys got into my account. Be careful with who you add if you're on PC.
Interesting post. I play with friends for the most part, but I can't say that I haven't occasionally teamed up with a random player that I already played with and we did well, they communicated or seemed like a good team player etc (especially after the added the feature where you could easily invite the members of your previous squad.) I never accept random friend requests though, and I would encourage everyone to enable 2FA on everything that you can do. It most certainly is an issue on the game's end, and it really does need looking into asap.
- @tigerbond I posted something about hackers obtaining your IP address and doing whatever they want with you- pigeonholing you into a server included. I believe this is the case but an EA mod just removed my post saying "it muddies the waters" to bring up a hack that "theyve already addressed".. kinda weird to remove it tbh
A friend suggested it could be something to do with my IP, so I tried on the same account, but through a VPN, and still had the same issue. And if it was related to my IP, wouldn't it affect any new account I use? I made a brand new account worked fine. It's all very strange.
This issue is account specific. My brother can play on his account just fine with the same computer. I created a new account and that one is just fine. This isnt some technical or connectivity issue. This is account specific. Either EA is being hacked or EA is intentionally doing this for some reason we are not yet aware of.

In the video, 1st clip is me winning, and I believe the two on my teams are cheaters.
After that, I haven't been able to play Apex since.
2nd clip shows me queuing for normal game(s). All my normal games are like that....
3rd clip is me being in Ranked queue for 2 hours and 15 mins, sped up by 500%.
What I've done to fix:
Reinstalling -
Tried on different PC / Internet -
Repairing -
Run as admin -
Queue with a friend -I've made another account to see if it's hardware related or account - I am able to play fine on my 2nd account, instant queue, full squads etc.
I'm currently level 3 so haven't tested in Ranked, but I assume it's gonna work there too.I honestly don't know what to do to fix this.
Prior to season 2, my friend and I were seeking for a 3rd guy our roster and climb the ladder.

I think one of the guys I had on tryout was cheating and I got hit with this... Whatever it is, I've contacted EA support 3 times with no help whatsoever. It would be so, so so, awesome if you can fix this!

My friend and I are looking for a 3rd for the upcoming Ranked season. A little about us I am from Denmark and my friend's from Belgium. We found each other in a random Apex Legends game where we dominated and thanks to the awesome "invite last squad" feature, we've been playing every day since Season 1 and gotten over 150 wins in Season 1. Playstyle I am Wraith main and he's Pathfinder main. We're really aggressive and always pushing and chasing gunshots. 10 kills each per game and 1500+ damage dealt is not unusual for us. We understand that the upcoming Ranked season will not reward high kills and therefore looking to change our aggressive playstyle to a more tactical one. Having played 400+ hours together being aggressive we've built up a bad habit by fighting too much where it's not needed. This is where you come in: We expect you to be a more tactical player, one that have a good game sense and understanding of when to push / fall back. We will need a 3rd voice in our discord to put us back in line when we've pushed too far. We hope that you're a leader type and can lead the game to victory through a tactical approach. Though that doesn't mean we wish to camp for top 5. We've invested a lot of time in Apex Legends and expect our 3rd to be as eager and passionate as us to climb the ladder. I don't know why it seems to be isolated. An unattended server is full of Chinese robots and Chinese cheaters. Qualifying can't start.
