GPU 100% @low (gtx1080)

Hello, my GPU GTX 1080 runs at 100%, overheating after a while only when playing Apex (yes fans are working,at full power). CPU (8700k) usage seems fine. Other games are not a problem. I'm also getting minor freezes even tho the FPS counter was showing constantly 100.

Things I tried to lower my GPU usage:
Disable windows Game Bar + Game Mode
Disable any overlays
Newest + older GPU drivers

Windows up-to date
Changing the resolution from 1440p to 1080p (still 100%, the hell?)
Changing FPS cap from 100hz to 60hz (still 100%)

Everything is at low or disabled
Power Management set to highest performance/power

Reinstall of the game

I was playing Apex (season 1) before with this setup, with no problems. The only thing that has changed is Apex, Windows version and GPU drivers.

I'm sorry but playing at 1080p with low/disabled settings, 60 FPS and getting 100% GTX1080 usage is just wrong.

I don't even know where the problem is, it's either Apex, Windows version or GPU drivers. What can I do to play this game at reasonable settings with reasonable usage?

its all about your monitor refresh rate.

if you have a 60hz monitor and you try to increase your fps,
if you increase the fps in the game your graphics card may overheat around 79-85'C even at low resolution.

    easy to fix:
you can play at 4k resolution 1/2 adaptative ultra high setting and your tempeture will be around 75'C and your fps around 60-100 fps and your video card will never overheat
