GSYNC feels broken on LG CX48 - capping 116 FPS
Hey all - So I've been doing some 4k/120hz gaming on an OLED, the LG CX 48.
For the past week, everything has been butter. Running 4k/120 hz, HDR, 10bpc, 4/4/4 and gsync has been obviously on.
My FPS were naturally capped at 120 FPS (I'm using a 3090), and the world was perfect.
Then, randomly, I noticed when I booted the game my FPS were capping at 116 FPS, and GSYNC was obviously not engaged or working. I've tried reinstalling the game, windows, every tip and trick in windows and NVCP settings to see if anything was interfering. Nothing has brought me back to 120hz with gsync on. I'm so besides myself, it was perfect!!!
I'm using latest NVIDIA drivers, latest LG firmware (which had some 4k gsync fixes). I just can't figure out what is breaking gsync from working on APEX. It only appears to be affecting this game right now. Any ideas?
I found something that worked... you have to manually disable Nvidia Reflex for the game which was enabled by default in a recent update: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/nvidia-reflex-apex-legends-out-now/
