having issues with in-game movement

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Nothing unusual, just holding down the W Key for at least 2 seconds and I don't stop after releasing it.

What happens when the bug occurs? I keep moving even though I released the W Key. The longer I hold it for, the longer it takes me to stop.
What should be happening instead? I stop moving.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hold down the W Key for a bit and then release it.

Yeah this really ruins the game for me because I'm busy fighting myself instead of the squads that ambush my pals.

Weird thing is it never happened once I started playing the game like a month ago, it only just started happening recently.

Strange issue you've run into! Try right-clicking on the game in Origin and select "Repair" to see if that does the fix. 

Have you tried resetting your keybindings back to default and/or checked for the latest updates for your GPU/Windows?

When I hold W, it's as if it was buffered incorrectly, because I will continue moving forward after I let go of W, for a period of time proportional to how long I held W. For example if I hold W for six seconds and release, I will continue moving forwards for perhaps 1.5 seconds. This is not the key getting stuck down because this does not happen in other programs; this is not a software 'stuck down' thing because those occur very rarely and stop when you press it again and this occurs with literally every W press and stops after a consistent period of time. The carrying will work even while the chat is open; the charge-up will happen even during the respawning cutscene or while on a zip-line. This is incredibly disruptive to gameplay as I cannot reliably move backwards after spotting an enemy, or stop to pick up an item. For about thirty seconds to a minute in my first game after completely restarting Apex I do not experience this; after that, I experience this issue constantly until Apex is closed. The game Observation has this same problem; no other game I have ever played does.

It's worth checking to see if the latest drivers are downloaded for your keyboard.

I have discovered the cause of my problem. It is indeed my keyboard, but it only happens when the CPU is hot, because the W key is right up against the CPU. I have no idea while this works while the chat is open.

What happens when the bug occurs? Key-press release does not register sometime, causing character to stuck in motion towards sides (as if ‘A’ `D` is being pressed consistently), even if no key is actively being pressed. Often occur when rapid sequence of keystrokes.
What should be happening instead? The character should not be moving if no input from keyboard
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Logitech G910 keyboard. During game, a random sequence of keystroke of `WASD` and `shift` and `ctrl` will cause the problem

This bug only happen to me after the 06/04 updates, previously I played couple hundreds of games and never seen this issue. 

I have over great lengths found a solution to this problem on my laptop!!!  my keys were dirty i pulled off my w key and cleaned several hairs out and blew it out the sticking stopped!!! 

i tried everything else like erasing and updating drivers etc.  for any built in laptop keyboard pop the stuck keys open and clean em!!!

i have completely new keyboard and i have the same problem as guys mentioned above. in word or text editor no issue, when playing battlefield or other games no issue. Only Apex and Titanfall.
