Not an expert but only thing I can think of is the power settings for Bluetooth headphones may be set up incorrectly. Try looking at the sound control panel and see what settings there are there. Could also use somthing like Sonar to run the headphones through and see if theres any difference.
Had a similar thing where the pc would go to sleep after 20 min following a windows update that changed that setting.
Could also be a battery issue.
I messed with some of the Bluetooth and power settings and found "allow computer to turn off device to save power" i turned that off and that didn't work. I tried running my headphones through sonar and that didn't work either. I doubt its a headphone power issue since I've tried more than 1 pair of Bluetooth headphones. Im like actually so lost on what it could be at this point..
