for some reason apex legends and only apex legends has insanely high ping i dont have this issue on titanfall 2 so i think there might be a problem with apex. im on pc and origin, my pc uses a wifi connection that has a regular downloadspeed of 30 mb per second. i tried verifying the files and look if im on the right datacenter but it seems nothing works

a wired connection is not possible for me, though it has not been a issue for anything exept apex legends
Community ManagerIf you can't use a wire due to distance to the router, a powerline adapter might be a good solution. That has helped a lot of people in that situation. You also can try using alternate DNS servers with these instructions. Possibly, opening the ports for Apex will help. Those can be found here.
For anyone living far from the servers, and I'm talking about living quite remote, or thousands of miles away, forget it, you're going to have a high ping.
Now mine isn't insanely high, but for an FPS game it's bad, mine since Season 1 has been around 80-90ms.
I just hope when Apex comes to Steam it gets better, if not, time to play other games.
P.S. EA, I'm in Damage, maybe you know them? https://dmg-inc.com/ I game with players daily, that constantly run into Lag issues, it's been this way since Day 1, and just like me, people all around the world have been asking to improve this!
Hey, I am coming to you guys with something that has been happening a lot lately. I have always used wired connection and have never had an issue with the connection. However, lately I have been having this rubber banding issue. It sends me flying backwards to the point I feel like I never left where I started lol. But no seriously it has been messing with my gameplay and I would love to speak to someone concerning whats up. I've reset my router and still it isn't as good. I will add too just to make it short, I've been playing in the AM which seems to be happening more in that timeframe than not. Anyways, I'd love to hear from you guys.

Community ManagerWhat troubleshooting have you performed so far? If you haven't yet, try updating your DNS servers with these instructions. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4. Let me know what happens.
i tried this and it didnt work. i am having this issue on xbox series s, ps4, and pc. tried wired and wireless. changed the DNS as you recommended and nothing is working
