High Ram usage in apex legends

Hello Guys , to make clear here are my pc specs

i5 9th gen , 8gb ram , gtc 1660ti

my game settings

resolution :- 1280x720

everything on low and TSSA on

my game used to work great until yesterday when i tried streaming apex it started giving me fps spikes i thought it will be due to i m streaming but after that it started giving me spikes even without streaming ,i tried running game without even opening discord but it still gives me unplayable fps and spikes , even tried lowest settings possible

To Take Note :- CPU and GPU usage are normal than the RAM usage

My fresh win 10 install uses 3.8gb with only a few chrome tabs open and 7.?gb while playing apex. so your 8gb is at the limit you might be hitting the page file if you have some background apps running

@VFlicksYT What other applications are you running with Apex? I know you mentioned streaming software like OBS, and do you have anything else up?

i actually do not run any other software while playing apex because i want smooth gameplay and the streaming software , i dont run it everytime i play apex but the day i streamed for like an hour the game started giving fps spikes . i thought it is and hardware or windows system issue so i appointed a computer specialist today ...but other than that the game is giving fps spikes everytime i play with no background processes on

@VFlicksYT hey man are u using 1x8gb ram or 2x4gb? u really need to be running dual channel

@VFlicksYT well that means u are running single channel.. this will hurt fps really badly

also dont buy just any second ram stick.. they need to be identical for stability.. normally people buy a kit wich is 2 identical ram sticks

i showed this to a computer guy he said a windows reset will fix it i did it and it still dosent fix , i even noticed that the ram usage before was also 30-40 without playing apex and when this fps spikes started happening the ram usage ran to over 90 i even got the life of ram checked it should work fine but the fps drops are still there . i even play other games like valorant etc in which fps matters like apex and it has no fps drops or low fps problems . i think this has no solution for now . waiting for a update in some time hope it will fix that .

@VFlicksYT have u fixed it? apex consume 3gb but on the task manager when apex legend is open consume 98% of memory. and noticed the app only consume 3gb but there's other program that is open with apex legends that consume a lot!

@VFlicksYT having the same problem here, before my game ran with discord and browser opened and stills only consumed 6,5-7gb of RAM, and now even if i close everything on my computer the game is stills consume 7,5gb RAM and has fps spikes

Im having the same problem. I am probably gonna uninstall and reinstall and see if that works.
