When I try to enter Apex Legends on my ps4, I receive the "invalid account" error. Mind you this has ONLY started as recently as yesterday as I have been playing Apex Legends for over a year now and not once have ever run into this issue. I had just played the game a day before, and then when I logged back in the next day, suddenly it stopped working.
HERE IS WHAT I HAVE TRIED BEFORE YOU SUGGEST:
- My PS4 is indeed Primary.
- I have restored my licenses on my PS4.
- I have restarted the Apex Legends app multiple times.
- I have restarted my PS4 system multiple times.
- I have uninstalled and reinstalled Apex Legends
- I have signed into the only 2 emails/accounts I have that are connected to EA as I read the "solution" that it could be an older EA account that's tied to my PSN;
1: to a very very old EA account that I made when I was a lot younger and
2: to my new-er EA account which is connected to most of my games (on Origin, NOT PS4). But this account does share the same email as my PSN account.
The issue is that NEITHER of them have anything in the "Connected Accounts" section. So I cannot see if either of them happen to be connected to my PSN account, nor can I link or unlink or any of that because there is simply nothing there. - I have reset my password(s) for BOTH EA Accounts regardless. Multiple times. I have waited the 90 mins in between as to not lock the accounts.
- When I try to sign in using my PSN account on the EA sign-in screen I get the "Account Ineligible" error, reading: "We're sorry, but your EA account or your account for PSN is not eligible." So I cannot link it using the site either. (picture included)
If my memory serves me correctly, Apex Legends does not ask you to link any EA Account when you start playing, so I'm baffled honestly as to which EA Account it's telling me is invalid, nor why it won't allow me to link one. My PS4 account works perfectly on other games. But most of all I'm baffled as to why this suddenly hit me like this. I have done nothing to my accounts at all for this error to suddenly pop up.
The worst thing is I had spent money on this game the last day I played it, and for the very next time for it to lock me out? Ridiculous.
And before you suggest I have to contact an EA Advisor, I've been waiting since support went live today, about 3 hours now. Still says "No channels are available". There is no phone support. The only reason I'm writing all this is because I've wasted hours on something that should have never happened to begin with and I'm at my wit's end.
I don't have a Facebook or Twitter either so please don't suggest that.
