Origin was capable of this.
Please add the option to change languages for installed games in the EA App now that you force people to use it over Origin.
I changed my language and chose "repair" but it didn't work. I know it has to re-download a few things after changing, so it cannot just be a "-lang en" parameter, but I feel like this is a very basic feature many of us miss.
I have downloaded the ea app when it first can out and I choose English for the language but my game was in Japanese when the download started and now I can’t get my game to start in English and I can’t use all the new features on season 16 now bc I can’t read what I’m clicking on. There should be a way for everyone to change the purpose of language in the EA app. Now I’m going to have to uninstall the game and the app just to get my game back to English for me to do this is really inconvenient for me to have to wait such a long time to play the last time I uninstalled it took three days for it to download all the way and that was with origin I like the ea app it runs better but I don’t have as much settings preference to change the language.
I have the same problem!!!!!! My game is now permanently in Japanese but I can't change it back to English! I don't understand why we can do it in Origin but not in EA App even though now it is mandatory to use EA App 🤷♀️
Hello, @EA_Illium! Today I had to reinstall my Apex. Guess what happened if I'm here in this topic? I pressed install button so fast so I didnt select game language. So after 3 hours of downloading I start game and see it runs in non-english language, but my native, which was an EA App default. Now please tell me if OP is september 2021, that means ea app developers team can not add option to change language of game that does not require REDOWNLOADING WHOLE 60 GB? Its an issue running for 1.5 years. But there's another post

There OP asks to add feature to select language before option, and it is resolved at some point between march and september 2021. So why we have to wait for 1.5 years so you add same feature? or is this not supposed to be a feature, but an actual thing, like in any good game launcher? Hope you would like to fix this issue and help people that want it for 1.5 year. Thank you!!
