just started having this problem after installing new ryzen9 5900 over old ryzen9 3900, upgrading from 64 to 128gb ram and upgrading from 2080ti to 3090ti
I never had this issue before and just did the listed upgrades and now and am having this issue
I also re-installed, deleted, repaired, modified registery, ran as admin and everything else listed to try.
I run msi dragon center with a custom locked cpu speed of 3.7mhz, my ram has been clocked to 3200 through the bios, and my cpu voltages is tuned down by an offset of .0500v. I have uninstalled all gpu clocking software after restoring to default settings.
i have run the game without the error for years using same clock (ran the 3900 at 3.8 actually) and settings in bios regarding power and ram.
I used to use evga gpu clocking software (when i ran evga 2080ti), but switched to msi afterburner with the new 3090ti (msi)
So the problem, through my process of upgrades and elimiintions, is with msi dragon center/afterburner, ryzen 9 5900 cpu, 3090ti's, or running the game with 128mb ram instead of 64 (doesnt seem logical at all to me)
I give up, untill there is a def fix or patch, ill be playing overwatch2.
