how to get steam account back

I was trying to link my steam and origin accounts so that I can transfer my progress to origin and use some gift cards I have, however after I linked my Origin and steam accounts I loaded up apex through origin and my steam progress was not there and so I loaded up apex through steam and my origin account was there and I can't unlink my steam account or even access my steam data on apex

I just want my account back but there seems to be no way to do it as i cannot unlink my steam account

    So just to clarify, did you unlink your Steam account from a different Origin account and then link it to the account that it's currently linked to?

    My steam account was never linked to any origin account and then I linked in while i was trying to transfer my progress to origin and both origin and steam showed my origin instead and not steam and I cannot unlink my steam

    I'm not sure how you were able to play Apex Legends with your Steam account previously if it was never linked to an EA account, since it immediately prompts you to link your accounts when you try to launch the game from a Steam account that isn't linked. Especially since all your progress is stored on the EA account. Are you sure that you didn't unlink it from another EA account first?
