I can't report cheating and harassment!

Product: Apex Legends

Platform: PlayStation 4

Model: PlayStation 4 (Original Model)

So I recently caught players cheating in Apex Legends PS4 and I read the EA Help Article on reporting.

There is no exclamation mark button under their name and no "Hold {Button} Report Player" prompt. Is this just me or is it an issue with everybody else?

The article SAYS that this report tool is for both PC and console but I recently learned that doing this on Xbox Apex Legends sends you to their report tool and the in-game one only works for PC. What is this?!

And this PC only reporting feature only allows you to report exploiting! Please. Fix. The. Report. Tool. And. Allow. Console. Players. To. Access. It. As. Well.

It's been a year and this is still a problem. Is anybody gonna like.. Fix it soon? There's no way to report players on console and the only way I've found just.. Crashes the game and says it doesn't work.

same here, there is no report box showing up for enemy but it is showing for team mates

@jasonbhoy7 The customer service for this game is a joke. "Press the triangle button" there isn't one. "Fill out this form" takes too long. Fix your reporting system wtf??

why the ..... cant rank players be reported this is a joke the only mode it matters and your just letting them keep playing this low tear management at its best so many wall hackers witch is not in the the report feather when its on of course all you deal with when is working is players that talk crap

I have been reporting this condition for months now in the German forum. The report button is also completely missing for me.
According to the CMs, it seems to be a "complex issue". How complex can it be, fixing a simple UI?

I had that issue for two years on my PS4. Then it just started working again. No idea why. On the PS5 it works fine as well.

Edit: Removed player ID and removed image showing player ID. It is against the Answers HQ rules to "name and shame". Please report players as instructed in the article here. -CM
