I need help with setting up DS4windows for apex sound

I've seen why I have to use monitor sound instead of having my headset connected to my controller (I need DS4windows) and I'm not sure how to set it up. It isn't picking up any sign of my controller, how do I fix that because I really wanna tell people in game chat to stop taking my legend. (and obviously hear things)
