Important Nvidia Update: 419.35 - The HUNG Fix

Hai folks!

This particular driver resolves the HUNG issue's that players have been experiencing. (possibly the crash with no error code too as it can be the same issue)

You can find the driver in your geforce experience software or on the Website.

Notice: if you experience fps drops or stuttering after the driver update please use DDU to un-install the driver and re-install.

Nvidia have released the 419.35 driver which includes the following:

  • [G-SYNC]: With a G-SYNC and G-SYNC Compatible display connected in clone mode, flashing occurs on games played on the G-SYNC display with G-SYNC enabled.
  • [Apex Legends]: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error message may appear and then the game crashes.
  • [Hitman 2]: Pixelated corruption appears in the game.
  • [Batman: Arkham Origins]: PhysX fog renders incorrectly
  • [Turing][Star Citizen]: The game flickers and then crashes to the desktop.
  • [GeForce RTX 2080][PhysX][Assassin’s Creed 4 - Black Flag]: Smoke dispersal appears accelerated.

    I'd say keep an eye out for driver updates and look carefully at the release notes.

    When you see the apex hung error in the known issues list you know it will be fixed next driver update.

    Well I was trilled by the news. I install the new driver and dive directly in Apex and just after 5 min or so here it comes again dxgi error still here ☹️

    EDIT : I shutdown the geforce overlay and put PhysX on CPU and everything working like a charm for now

    Installed 419.35. Game has crashed two matches in a row. Rollin back to 417.35 or whatever that other version was...

    Update your Windows and do a clean Nvidia driver install... to version 417.35... than set your game to -fullscreen (idk, but it helped me a lot)... the game are crashing very rarely with BAD_MODULE, but this only Respawn can fix! For us, just wait ... If you are able to do anything to play more... SEE THIS POST.

    kinda getting tired of it.. super game want to play but the crashes & freezes do make me angry / sad.

    dxgi hung, and random screen freeze. almost tried everything

    -Rollback drivers (DDU + Fresh install)   tried all of them untill 417 )

    -Reinstall game

    -reinstall other chipset and pc drivers

    -disabled all programms not related to the game

    -turned antivirus / firewalls off

    -tweaked a * settings etc. etc.. 

    was crash free with 417.35 for a while but then a game update came up and destroyed everything for me again.

    i hope one of you guys can help me with my problem.

    capped my fps @ 144

    system: 

    i7 6700k

    16gb ddr4

    rtx2080

    1440p @ 144

    just had an update from apex and did not crash yet. hope its fixed now

    when i play the game my pc freeze like nothing works anymore i nly have to reboot the pc or shut it down idk why i did stress test on gpu cpu anything but this stupid * keep crashing , 

    my specs 

    ryzen 5 1600

    16 gb ram dddr4 

    gtx 1660 ti 6gb 

    256 ssd samsung 

    2 tb hdd 

    idk why this keep happening im did all kind of fixes but nothing works 

    ffs
