Exactly same specs here 1080ti, i7700, 16gb ddr4 and windows 10
Attached is a screenshot of my GPU while idle in the menus in the training screen with all graphics settings set to the lowest, sits at 100% utilization constantly.
There is something very wrong here, running every other game at highest settings with no issues and this game stutters and lags on the lowest.

@EA_Atic wrote:Can try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂/Atici dont have discord or nvidia experiences installed and im using CCleaner everytime i boot doesnt change anything and i doubt any of this has anything to do with extreamly high gpu usage

I turned off a few additional taskbar programs, they were:
- Roboform
- Plex
- Steam Launcher
- Epic Games Launcher
One of those services was the culprit, it had been so long I'd had a game be interfered with like that (by other programs) that I'd forgotten to do this.
However, although my performance is better in game the GPU usage remains at 100% consistently.

- 5 years ago@EA_Atic I have a 3900xt, 32gb RAM, and a RTX 2080S, I'm running Apex on my 1440p monitor at 144hz and it is sending my GPU to 100% utilization. I have tried switching it down to 1080p but no luck. Any word on better optimizing this game?
