Thank you, Barry. I was able to fully remove Daemon Tool, but I'm still experiencing the same error. So far -
- Complete reinstallation of Apex Legends
- Updated PC/Driver
- Uninstalled all 3rd party controller apps (razer, cue, etc)
- Ran a search for repairs on both steam and command prompt
I'm stumped..

Try booting Windows in a minimal state, this will help eliminate other software interfering. Perform a clean boot as follows and retry. Thank you. EA_Barry.
