Are you running SentinelOne antivirus/agent? It seems there was a recent EAC update that broke compatibility with this software and now all EAC games report this error. I haven't found any way to get EAC + SentinelOne cooperating, so if it looks like that's also your problem, it's probably worth telling EAC to get to fixing it ( https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/contact/tech/ )

Thanks PSY, You also commented on my Reddit post. I literally cannot believe this is not more urgent of a fix.

I am having the same issue. I called EA games and they were of no help but they said they have now reported it as a bug. I also submitted a request to EAC with PSY's link. Good luck guys - hopefully we find a solution soon!
- 3 years ago@Coope1kr Haha, yeah, SentinelOne is my corporate antivirus so I can't disable it myself -- instead gotta rally enough people that we get EAC to fix this. I'm sure it'll be resolved... eventually
