Hello!
I recently unlinked my PSN account (which was my main) from an old EA account that I no longer use. I then linked my PSN to my current EA account. When I logged into Apex from my PC, I saw that nothing had changed. I then logged in from my PS5 to see that all of my progression from my lower level account (EA account) had overwritten everything on my PSN account. I even lost skins and legends that I owned previously on my PSN account. Is there any way to recover the items from my PSN account and make that the main account?
Side note: I have never once seen the Cross Progression merge notification (second picture). I did see the Cross Progression notification (first picture) when cross progression was first rolled out, but that was it.

After having logged on from my PS5, I can no longer log in from my PC. Even if I turn off my PS5, I get a message saying that "this account is already logged in on another device".

This would be happening due to that initial unlink you mentioned. Progress is stored on the EA Account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc.
This would mean any progress you had made on PlayStation would actually be on that older EA Account you mentioned. There is not a way to transfer any content from one EA Account to another separate account I'm afraid.
From there, the only way to try restoring access to that older content would be to re-link your PSN account back to the original EA Account. If you run into any trouble with that, please contact support and they can take a look at getting the correct accounts re-linked.
Regarding the additional message you're seeing, there is a short delay when switching from one platform to another on the same EA Account. We're looking to shorten that in the future, but you would just need to allow some additional time when switching platforms currently.

Thanks for the quick response.
That is unfortunate as I was hoping to merge my progression on the two accounts. I can't unlink my account again for another 6 months to link back to the old one. Is there any alternate option such as being reimbursed some amount of in game currency to reclaim my lost legends/skins? If I could get my legends back along with just the few skins that I lost, I wouldn't mind simply continuing on this new EA account as my main. After all, I did spend a lot of time on the original account.
Please let me know if anything of the sort is possible.
