if you unlink a platform account from the original EA account, your progress and items will not be transferred over to the next EA account you link it with. This is also said in the disclaimer and articles about the unlinking process.

You can try to relink your PSN account with your old EA account to regain access to the items, but there is no guarantee that you can get your items back, especially as you relinked it before the cross progression merge.
