Hi I play cross platform with my boyfriend, he's on PS5 and I'm on PC. I had no updates pending when I opened the EA App and when I started the game it gives me this message when I try joining his party. My game is fully updated?? Not sure what this means but neither of us can join each other's party which sucks. I've tried restarting everything, clear cache, repair. Nothing is fixing it :(

One is on XBOX
and one on steam
they can join each other, i cannot. So the problem seems to be with EA APP... probably an update that does not show until a set time :/
it does suck tbh.. and it came out of nowhere.
EA App/apes is some of the most buggy stuff i've ever encountered haha..
I'm playing apex on my steam app and my two friends are playing on PlayStation and I keep verifying and reinstalling my game but it keeps saying i don't have the right game version.
What do I do to fix it????

Hello EA and fellow players.
I have had a problem today with being able to play cross-switch with my friends on xbox and PS4. It keeps saying "Join failed. Game version does not match host" when I invite them or when they invite me, so we can't join each others lobbies. Im sure this is a problem from EA or probably any recent technical issues from the updates?
I have repaired my files, re-installed the game and done everything. Still says the same. Hopefully this gets fixed asap.
Hello you need to go to EA app, top left corner the 3 lines, there point at help, and pred app recovery, then you will get up date
