lag despite high end pc

I'm running a high end rig, and despite this, I'm unable to consistently hold 144 FPS in apex. Even on all low settings, my fps keeps dropping to 60 or below. I've updated drivers, I've tried old drivers, I've installed all windows updates, as well as tried older windows updates. I've factory reset my pc, I've deleted eac and verified game files. Despite all of this, my game is still running significantly worse than it should. No solution is working. Attached is my dxdiag if that helps at all.

  • @mintyhour i hope you make a check and give me the results

check Vram at low settings if it's getting Full after couple of games ( 2 or 3 in each map ) and focus in Vram Usage
check clock speed of GPU if Vram getting full or the game stuttering started ( clock speed if getting Low or not )
try this in both maps ,
and please tell me about your storage ( is it HDD or SSD ) do you feel any stuttering in lobby when the map changed ?

I have a 1tb M.2 NVME ssd, that's what apex is on. I also have an 8tb HDD, but nothing apex related is on that drive. Watching task manager, I noticed that I'm almost always at 100% GPU usage, and about 3.5-4/6.0 GB vram used. Using GPU-Z, the clock speed stays at 1920-1925 MHz. My temps are fine, staying around 50-60 degrees Celsius

All low settings with my texture streaming budget set to 6gb. My gpu will go between 95-100% usage.

If you lower the settings does that help and what resolution are you playing on? @mintyhour
