Laptop can BARELY run this Apex on LOW, runs Fortnite on EPIC

This game needs to be optimized for laptop. I've lowered all settings and spent hours optimizing it in my computer settings to give it max power and i can only get 60 frames for one game before my entire computer starts crawling like a baby. I have to restart my computer to even be able to use it properly after just one game on all low settings. I can run fortnite and other games no problem even with apps like premiere pro open and no lag but this is the only game running and it still can't perform.
