I had thought the lack of fluctuation was when you went straight to the modem instead of through the router. Is that not the case and it's only happening when pinging easo.ea.com?
Just keep in mind that it could be hardware related. I understand it worked for 2 years, but your ISP could have also made updates to their network or an update to the modem could be causing this. It's very possible that you'll see an increase in performance by getting better equipment. I'm not saying you should run out right now and pick up a new modem and router, but if this continues, it might be worth trying. Personally, I love the performance I get from buying my own equipment. I also have more control over them and my monthly internet bill is less since I'm not leasing their equipment.
I understand your preference, however I'm not paying for this modem. Now this modem is brand new and the issue persists. The Videotron tech showed me the specs for the modem on his phone. Having worked myself as a manager at a reseller ISP that uses Videotron's lines, I understood fully well these signal levels. I spoke to 3 different types of technicians telling me it's fine.
Like I mentioned in my initial troubleshooting, I don't have these lags at all on the Nintendo switch playing Apex. Can we stop blaming the hardware at this point? Is there anything else I can do?

I've downloaded the game on PS4. Using the same network as my Xbox. No. Issues. The game is smooth
Not too sure what this confirms 🙄 but for now I will play on PS4

Same here. I can play on my Series S or PC with no issues, but Xbox One is a strugglefest.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad you can play smoothly now, but it's definitely disappointing you have to switch consoles. If I can think of anything else to try for your Xbox, I'll update here.
