Linux game crashing

after the update for apex season 22 split 2 my game has been randomly crashing. It happens about about once every 3 or 4 games. It happens regardless of what I am doing. I could be in the lobby, inviting someone to my party, looking at the floor, in a gun fight, dropping from the ship, it doesn't matter it still crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying files, changing proton, changing graphic settings. when the game crashes it will do one of who things. One if will freeze and I have to force quit it (happens about 90% of the time). Or two it will just shut down. I am using Debian 12. any help would be greatly appreciated. This might just be a bug in the game and not a problem with my system because I have heard of someone else who has this problem.
