Linux players getting banned
Edit: Looks like they fixed the issue causing the bans. Edit 2: EA is reversing bans and sending out emails letting you know. Yay! Hello, I believe myself and a few others got banned for just playi...
@Nutmayr Seems like we were banned around the same time, curious if even more linux false-ban reports will start to slowly roll in.
I also only played non-ranked trios and mixtape.
It is hilarious, sad, and unfortunate that you were hit by both linux false-ban waves, the one 4-5 months ago and the one now. I managed to avoid the one 4-5 months ago because I stopped playing the instant I saw the r/linux_gaming post go up, but it seems like I'm one of the first this time.
Yeah it's seeming like the exact same thing as last time. Haha it definitely doesn't inspire a lot of confidence knowing this ban situation always looms for Linux and yeah pretty unfortunate to be affected twice. Unfortunately supposing this does get resolved again, I'm pretty sure it'll happen for a third time as I don't have a whole lot of confidence Respawn will actually fix the underlying issue, but I'm always happy to be proven wrong.
