in order for my friend to gift to me, i need the login verification, after half an hour i got it, but on the game (apex legends) it did not say that i had it activated, and my friend basically couldn’t see me in the gift section

im able to recieve gifts but i cant send them and when i try to verify my account the code never gets sent to the email with the account can someone help?
