As you mentioned, cross progression isn't coming to the game until later this year, though your progress should still be there for you if you revisit a different platform.
Typically you should only see the content go missing like this if you've unlinked any accounts or platforms from your EA Account where that was originally earned.
At that point the account would need to be re-linked to the original EA Account to regain access to that content. If you're running into any trouble with this progress still missing please reach out to support directly so they can take a look over the account, as it's not something we're able to dig into on the forums.
