Lost everything on apex due to cross progression

 i dont know what to do anymore. I have received the cross progression message, and when my accounts merged it lost EVERYTHING my highest level account was prestige 2 level 300+, i also had 12 heirlooms and every season pass completed. Please tell me there is something that can be done for me to recover everything. My EA account is linked to my playstation account and i still lost everything, im hoping someone is able to help me here i spent 3 years playing this game and it is really sad, and upsetting to see everything just gone. This game was the whole reason i became a content creator.

    It looks like despite your PlayStation account being the highest level, you had unlinked that from its original EA account and linked it to your current EA account instead.

    This is why you're not seeing any of that content. Progress cannot be transferred or merged across separate EA accounts.

    EA account 1: PSN progress, PSN account

    EA account 2: PC progress, Xbox progress, PC account, Xbox account

    By linking your PSN to the other account, you've turned the above situation into:

    EA account 1: PSN progress

    EA account 2: PC progress, Xbox progress, PC account, Xbox account, PSN account

    Your PC and Xbox accounts are both extremely low level especially in comparison to your PSN account, which is why it appears you've lost everything. In this situation you would want to re-link your account(s) to the original EA account instead, rather than the one you're currently using. That would get you to this scenario:

    EA account 1: PSN progress, PSN account, PC account, Xbox account

    EA account 2: PC progress, Xbox progress

    If you need any assistance getting the correct accounts (re)linked, please contact support directly as we cannot make any changes here on the forums.

    If you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can assist further.

  • @EA_Mako  I need help with my account regarding cross-progression. I had contacted support multiple times, submitting 5 cases, and have gotten no response from any of them. To summarize, I had my master account on my PS4 and had recently moved to PC. After I got the cross progression prompt on PC, I did not get the second prompt showing my master account instead it lead me to the game lobby with nothing transferred except ONE pathfinder skin i had bought a while back on my PS4 account. This leads me to believe my progress is still stored somewhere and can be restored. Please give me some type of response as contacting support brought me no where. I did unlink and relink my playstation account to the SAME EA (i did not link it to another EA account to my knowledge) I do not care for my PC progress and just want my PS4 progress back. Thanks for your time and effort.

    @TheStormFang ea help is dreadful most of the time. You usually just get bots. Just keep trying till you get a live chat going with them. That seems to be the only way you get an actual person
  • I'm in this exact same situation however I've already been in contact with support for almost 2 weeks and they've been very very unhelpful to say the least, not to mention it seems like they haven't actually seen the first email since they asked me to try to re link my Xbox account even though in the very first email I stated I'm unable to unlink it from the current EA Account it's attached to until next May.

  • I see! The only thing is on my account it says I can’t unlink the Xbox account for 6months.

    Hi @skygulati,

    It looks like you have the same situation as above. Your Xbox account was linked to a different EA account, so progress cannot transfer from that to your current EA account.

    You would need to re-link that to its original EA account to try recovering the progress.

    Same for me. They just reiterate over and over how cross-progression was designed to work, and it was implemented TERRIBLY.

  • I lost everything too! I've been in contact with EA support but they've done absolutely nothing for 2 weeks....
