Low Fps Apex legends

Low fps and Stutter in Apex Legends

I got from 13 fps in the start of the game to 40-110 fps in lowest settis 900p

my pc: Ryzen 5 2600, GTX960 2gb, 16Gb ram 3200Mhz

I tryed almost everything showed in ea posts, from deleting anti cheat and restoring the game to even uninstalling the whole game, and nothing worked

I've also tryed updating windows, nvidia drivers, uninstalling them even with DDU, still it doest work

i tryed without the overlays (Afterburner, nvidia and origin) and nooope

i dont know what to do, game used to run fine till one day with no aparent reason started lagging so hard

  • Nope, it was my last option as my connection is very slow and it takes a lot of time to reintal windows.

I'll mark this as the solution because till i do it we won't know and i guess that will be the solution so...

Thx Kent for your time and help :D

    Hi @-deyx18-

I saw some similar reports recently where this was happening on the most recent NVIDIA drivers. I heard from a few people who said they weren't seeing the same FPS issues on older drivers. Have you had the chance to try rolling back to an earlier driver to see if that helps at all?

    /Kent

  • I haven't tryed yet, i might do it to see if it works, alltho, if i remember correctly it happend without updating the drivers. i'll let you know asap

  • Nope, i installed an october 2019 version i had laying arround and the same problem is happening. 13fps at the begining and stutter all over the game.

    Thx anyways 🙂

    @-deyx18-

Thanks for giving that a shot. When you have the chance could you post a DxDiag so we can take a look? For more details on how to grab one check out the EA Help website. Please attach the text file here once you have it.

    Thanks again,

    /Kent

    @-deyx18-

    Thank you! I appreciate that.

Have you had the chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that helps at all with the FPS issues? If there's anything else running that might be causing the FPS drops that may help to get around it.

For more details on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Once you've had the chance to give it a try please let me know how it goes. Thanks!
